I agree we need another half back and as i have said for months another second row but even with them i dont think we have a team with or without Connor to consolidate ourselves in the top 6.
Its my opinion that the club will be prepared to see out 2023 with minimum spend and make a huge effort in recruitment in 2024 when we have such a lot of players off contract and Tony Smith can start to produce his own squad.

No contract for Hardaker at Leeds….

If we needed a fullback or a centre, I'd definitely sign Hardraker, really good player.

The only way I could see it would be to replace Connor, but still think that would be a mistake as don't see Hoy and Trueman working.

Other options which I've talked about before if moving Carlos to the backrow.

Didn't Hardaker struggle to commute from Leeds to Wigan? So much so it ended up him getting the sack.

I'm sure Leeds will juggle the cap and he'll end up staying

I think they were relying on Walker signing for us so they could free up the cap space to sign him.

Hardaker isn't a fullback any more - not one who should be playing in a team with title aspirations anyway. Probably the most versatile player in the league though - in terms of playing several positions at a good standard.
