Rather have Longstaff personally.

As mentioned Powell took him from Cas with him so is obviously a big fan of his?

In that case he must have been poor this season if they are keen to get rid?

I'd have Holmes, was good at Cas, move not worked out at Warrington, but you could say that about a few players at Warrington last season.

Appreciate we are pretty desperate for a SR but I would be very underwhelmed with Holmes. Never saw the hype at Cas and has been poor for Wire.

Rumour on the Leeds board that we are speaking to Hardaker as Leeds will only offer him 1 year, and he wants longer.

If we get Hardaker, is that a sign we will let Connor go?

Not sure where he would play though.

As you said could only see it if Connor leaves, still think if Connors goes we need a 7 not a fullback.

Don't shoot the messenger but if what i was told is correct Hull FC have already signed/ agreed terms with a second row cum centre who Tony Smith has coached very recently. Not likely to prove popular with the fans if true, and it does use up the final quota place but your new coach is apparently very keen on his OOC former player and his versatility does cover two positions he wants to be strengthened.

We heard this a few weeks ago, just can't see it happening.

Think it is Rovers fans making mischief, not heard it from any other usual sources.

Madness if true. Why would be talking to him when we already have full backs and centres?

I also thought one of Smith's jobs was to sort out the culture problem at the club. Not add to it.
