Personally my MOTM tonight, made very good yards in attack and showed a lovely turn of pace for his try, one of his best if not the best game hes had for Hull.

the guy in front of me in the south stand after 5 mins, shouted " earn your money cusack... do something!"
which we promptly set him right
then he was shouting for kingy, who the knocked on the first time he got the ball! He did ok for me, defended well and had his usuall work rate, he is never going to be a tackle breaker and he admits he is not the best player in the world. But im with you, he worked hard tonight!
They refused to surrender that lead, with a fine tackle from Byrne again denying Goulding, before they delivered the knockout blow with nine minutes remaining as Cusack sidestepped his way over after bursting through the defensive line.
Taken from th Sky Sports web site report.
That plus a 40/20 and we are well aead already of what we achieved last season

Nothing between him and Radders in my opinion. Also Byrne until he did that knock on was up there.
bloke in front of me said that in years to come it will be passed down in folklore as a 80m try avoiding 6 or 7 tacklers.
by the time we'd got home he took a bomb on his own try line and avoided 7 or 8 tackles before saluting to the south stand and plonking the ball down with a back flip!!!!
Sorry but he's too similar to Paul McNicholas for me.....looks the part but doesn't gain the metres in the tackle, and also very easy to tackle.
Even though one is a prop and the other was a back rower?
I'm gussing you don't see all the work that he does in defence then and the amount of times he gets a quick PTB. Cusack is a really good player for us and I for one happy with what he does for our club.

Don't get me wrong, his defense is good, it's just that he goes down "cheaply" in attack.
