Looking forward to the match…

I’d hope it’ll be something like….

1.Max Jowitt.
2.Tom Lineham.
3.Samisoni Langi.
4.Reece Lynne.
5.Lewis Murphy.
6.Lee Gaskell.
7.Mason Lino.
8.Renouf Atoni.
9.Morgan Smith.
10.Jai Whitbread.
11.Matty Ashurst.
12.Jay Pitts.
13.Kevin Proctor.

Subs.
14. Rob Butler.
15. Eddie Battye
16. Josh Bowden.
17. Liam Kay.

Like the look of this but I’d put Hall in for Lyne and put Tanginoa on bench for one of the 3 props.

Proctor won’t be playing full 80 and I would bring Tanginoa on for Proctor and move Pitts to LF with Tanginoa moving to SR for some oomph out wide.

Mostly I can see the team looking like that. Someone said Bowden was in a boot. Probably why we haven’t seen him since Boxing Day.

Didn’t think Tanginoa would be ready as recovering from injury and hasn’t played in pre season games.

Also didn’t know about Bowden who I thinks been impressive whenever he’s worn the Trinity shirt.

We're not looking too bad.

Given his utility, covering centres, halves and back row, could Langi, be a useful player to come off the bench.

Don’t think he’s ever played second row.

He’s pretty much been a centre almost exclusively for last 5 years of his career. He’s a centre for me.

He did ok at loose for a spell though.

I’d sooner play Jowitt at halfback than Langi if it came to it or maybe even Abrahams.

I very much see Langi as a centre. It’s a huge dilemma where to squeeze him in.

There is no way you should play Abraham in front of Langi at stand off. He's got a lot of potential but from what I've seen he isn't ready for Super League yet.

Lewis Murphy and Tom Johnstone on the pitch together, doesn't get much better than that. Can't wait.(over to you Mash)

And that’s where the club need to be advertising this one as the clash of the titans , all well and good us banging on about this potential great match up ,but the general public of wakefield haven’t a clue who these two are . We need to put our players in the spotlight more in order to grab peoples attentions and get people back into the game .

If Lino, Gaskell, Smith were injured then I would play Jowitt or Abrahams before Langi at 6. He looked lost there on Sunday. Maybe it’s too harsh to judge him at 6 with the team we put out though. He just looks like a centre to me.

I wasn’t talking about first choice but more in an emergency if we had injuries.

Unfortunately got to disagree with you here mate, think Langi at 6 would be a better option then Charlie if we got hammered by injuries. Both Charlie and Kobe still need a lot of development, Kobe was absolutely peppered last Sunday in that first half with the majority of points coming that way. Can’t take anything from Langi’s performance in that game, Munster wouldn’t of done anything in that game at 6 for us.

That’s what these forums are for so no worries there mate.

I don’t know. It’s hard to judge Langi at 6 with an inexperienced team and half partner. I do think Langi is a good player but I don’t envy Mash in deciding where to play him.
