Very sad to hear Doddie has lost his battle with MND. Condolences to his family and friends.

MND doesn’t have a happy ending for anyone at the moment, those who have it know this. That’s why Kevin Sinfield’s superb campaign to bring awareness to the poor state of funding into a cure is so important.

RIP Doddie Weir, you fought a good fight and selflessly moved a cure closer for others

Thoughts are with his family and friends

I know he's had it for longer, but his condition didn't seem as progressed as Rob Burrow so was surprised by the news, although he didn't look well when I saw him on a recent news bulletin of a RU match.

Seemed like a top bloke and certainly fought his condition with bravery and masses of dignity RIP
