Hard to think given their recruitment that Wigan won’t win it again next year. If HKR gel with their recruitment 12/1 is not a bad shout.

London now added to the betting for next season. 50/1 seems skinny considering they will need some building to compete.

I wonder who will win it in 2024.... 18 years of Wigan, Saints or Leeds has to end sometime, right?

Hard to look past Wigan to do it again tbh, if I was to have a bet I’d be tempted to have a go with HKR 12/1 with the recruitment they have done could be a good run for your money. Last season we were 8/1 before the season started and yes I had a go at that and for a while it was looking good but 6/1 this time around is a bit short for my liking. So we will probably win it lol

What was interesting, when Wire was 4 clear with 8 games gone, Saints stuttering, the bookies still held off making Wire favourites.
The best we achieved last season was 3/1jt 2nd fav with Wigan, even then, it was only in the coming days before our thrashing by Wigan.
The bookies have Wire all worked out.

It will be saints or Wigan again. I completely agree with the bookies. Unless another team is allowed to pin down and slow their ruckspeed down (or officials actually start to use their whistles to penalise the lack of movement) nobody will be able to live with them in playoff rugby.

Well I’m hoping for a few rule changes for next season especially if we going to have the bunker system.

The sport really needs it, I'd start with all players have to move when move is called, if you trap one of your teammates in and he can't move tough, it's a penalty. The ruck area has to be quicker and cleaner IMO. Its a total mess and very boring at the minute.

The trouble with rule changes is they're implemented for the early rounds and then forgotten about. We need a whole new set of definitions around the ruck area. Moving off the mark is none I'd like to see punished everytime as well and hands in on the player as they're trying to get up. Mr walmsley may not like the stepping off the mark enforcement though, he would have to learn how to play the ball properly.
