Since Saints moved into their new stadium they have posted losses every year, totalling over £10 million. In that same period Wigan have lost £5.5 million.

as a shareholder of Saints the debts are not something to be happy about, but they are almost entirely owed to Eamonn McManus and Mike Coleman who both know the debt is either never retrievable or changed to debentures, it doesn't really effect the position of the club as if you add in the assets of the stadium it isn't an issue.
In saying that all SL clubs need to make sure they are running within their means, Saints cannot survive without Wigan and Warrington and vice-versa.

It is good to see a photograph of your traditional kit. I suspect that not many Saints fans know that Red Vee is something more modern.

And in the same way most of the money owed by Wigan is to Ian Lenagan and/or his companies. Danson could buy every Superleague club with his pocket money!!
I would love every club to be profitable or at least break even

See you are doing it again bringing facts into it. I would also every club make a profit as without the teams we have no sport.

No one, outside of top 10 Soccer teams goes into a sport and expects to make a profit, they always hope to break even.
In fact, there is an old saying, "if you are in profit you aren't even really trying to be a succesful team"

I believe what we are trying to say is that we all want the sport of RL to survive and maybe prosper. We are not soccer.
We aren't Premier League, but many of the lower leagues are similar and clubs almost always run at a loss if not break even, only a hadful of clubs in any UK sport runs at the profit.
