I believe the club would have done more to retain him had we known Bateman was going.

The club should have done more regardless of the Bateman situation. The coaching staff all rated him highly but, those in charge of the pennies took their eyes off the ball and failed to act in time!

Apparently on the podcast they've said there's news to be announced that is not only massive for Wigan but for Rugby League. Nothing more than that. Anyone got any idea what's been referred to?
