This wheelchair world cup has been great. Think it's my new favourite sport.

Well done England! The rfl should capitalise on this success and get a rematch booked in the same weekend as the England v France double header next year

So glad Halliwell pulled it out of the bag in the end, I can't believe what was going on with the French ref though, never seen anything like it.

You know that wheelchair rl has made it to the big time when everyone is criticising the ref!

Fantastic for the sport cant wait for BBC sports of the year award going to England Wheelchair World cup winners.
Loved the passion at the end and brilliant to see the French ref and officials really p*ssed off.
Best team won.

Unlike Bernard Guasch, the French can't threaten never to play in a final again until they have a French official. They had one and still lost and everyone saw his behaviour. Tant amount to bringing the game into disrepute.

Wheelchair World Cup has been better than the able bodied one, and not just because England won.

67k for the final is a good crowd, and with the high prices they are saying this is the biggest gate receipts ever for RL.

While Australia have been in control its been a decent watch. I really hope the game schedules these Samoa-Tonga games on the islands and keeps this momentum going,

England Men’s performance in the semi final aside this has been a great tournament IMO.

Scenes at the end with the three World Cup winning teams and 3 trophies on display after the pandemic etc was great.

It’s how we kick on now. The men’s game need to build on this with a proper test series next year. Not a mid season game against France or some team made up of the best of the rest of superleague.

If we can’t get New Zealand or Australia to tour get Samoa and Tonga over. We could go back the year after. That would help all three close the gap.

We all need more competitive games.

We have 3 years until France and we need to start planning for it now. Superleague should come second to what’s best for the England team. An England World Cup win would do far more for superleague than anything else. I’m sick of feeling like this after a tournament we should have been in the final at least.
