I've been told a bit of news regarding a couple of our new signings Toby Warren will apparently rejoin York on a season long loan & Luke Hooley has damaged Ankle ligaments in training and requires surgery could be out for up to 12 weeks unfortunately.

ooph, lets hope Myler doesnt get injured 15 minutes into the season again then

Not good on Hooley. Leaves us short on cover at FB for a fair amount of time.. I’m still sad we couldn’t keep Zak. Thought he was very good for us particularly at the business end.

Yeh, it's a shame for Hooley.
I guess if Myler got injured, Fusitua or Handley would go to FB and Olpherts on the wing.

I agree mate.
Different class to Nene and Hooley but there you go.

MacDonald has the potential to be a much bigger attacking threat than Hardaker in the centres. Defensively Hardaker is very good and we'll miss that for sure, along with his ability to play fullback and centre to a good standard.

Can see that mate and is probably not too dissimilar to Hurrell as far as attack and defence goes.
I would say the plus with Hardaker is his versatility and didn`t take up a quota spot.
Don`t get me wrong I think we will have some good attacking structure from MacDonald over the season.

If Nene is decent in attack then he'll do for me. Much as I like hardaker I find that side of his game a bit meh tbh
