Whilst gutted at the loss, it's encouraging. A few weeks back we looked like we couldn't score for toffee. We've given all the top 6 teams a good game this season. A few reinforcements in January and hopefully we can pull away from the bottom. So many clubs struggling a couple of wins goes a long way

Agree. A good left back today and we get something from the game imo. Lack of experience in midfield on the bench caught up with us too imo no good options there at all when we needed someone to come on and help control the game. There’s plenty of positives though going into Jan for me. Investment is a huge must though
We get opened up in that half space between the LB and LCB way too much I'd love us to try to sign Ahmedhodžić from Sheffield United in Jan, but if not, give Hjelde a go. Cooper can't play in this system
Cooper is a liability and Hjelde/Cresswell for me are better options. As much as I don`t think he`s the answer but Llorente coming on instead of Ayling would have been a better option. And whilst Gnonto didn`t have the best of halves he does offer a threat and I would have kept him on until the hour mark at least.
On reflection and listening to others both positive and negative. I`m thinking JM got the tactics and once again the substitutions wrong. We`re 3-2 up and we change the system which invited Spurs on to us more. We brought Ayling on at CH a position he hasn`t played for sometime and we fail to shore up the left side that was getting crucified. Whilst our defence has been poor for the last couple of weeks It wasn`t helped yesterday by poor decision making from the manager.
