Looked very good tonight and fingers crossed him and Cresswell as our centre backs in the future.
Ayling and Llorente along with Klich above average and our keeper played very well and looked solid at the back.
Harrison needs taking out of the limelight his confidence is totally shot.
Hate to say it but Joffy didn`t look too great which might be down to lack of playing time although I`m not so sure.
Would liked to have seen us win tonight but bigger fish to fry.

Two things with Harrison and Geldhart, both being played out of position last night (as Harrison was at the weekend). Harrison is awful on the right and as you say his confidence is shot. Geldhart spent too much of the game with his back to opposition, looked lost at times where he was being asked to play and picked up yet another injury..... :WALL:

Overall we did well against a much more exp team. Will settle for that. Actually thought Firpo went pretty well.. :o

Harrison started the game pretty well, but went back to his usual performance after that!
Firpo was improved which was a surprise, was impressed with quite a few of the youngsters.
Unlucky not to win that really.

I had high hopes for Geldhart but he`s flattering to deceive at present and does seem to pick up injuries far too easily.
Harrison did start off really well and I thought he was trying to prove a point.
But like you have said dropped back into his poor ways again.
Apparently there`s a video going round that when Leeds scored the winner on Saturday everyone on the bench went crazy but Harrison sat on the bench with his arms folded.
Not a good sign.
Firpo wasn`t bad but does get out of position and his passing isn`t very good.
I like to see the FB`s getting down the flanks and crossing it which he never does.

Not sure if we are having a football WC thread (sorry Marty if you`re reading this)
But how on earth do the likes of Maguire, Alexander Arnold, Dier, Henderson, Philipps and Gallagher get into the England squad on form?
And no place for Tomori, Abraham and Toney?
Southgate would have been better saying he is going for his trusted players rather than say he`s picking them on form.
Re: The ONLY LUFC Football Thread : Thu Nov 10, 2022 8:21 pm
Apart from Tomori instead of Dier and maybe Toney for Rashford, I don't have too many issues with the squad, there aren't too many players available who I think are unlucky to miss out.

rashford has been garbage for 2 years but somehow still gets selected
