Just that. Someone was saying that someone from New Zealand or May be New Zealand warriors are going to get involved with the club financially. Other than that I didn’t hear anything else. May be folk just talking bull or it may have some substance. That’s all I heard sorry I can’t elaborate on it as I don’t know myself. Also someone mentioned we may be signing two PNG players but again just folk talking and I have no idea where they heard this from.

Does anyone know where Worthington has gone? Grixy said he was offered more than we could. Keighley?

Barrow and keighley are the two rumours I’ve heard . You would think keighley would be more practical, the travel costs commuting to barrow plus travel time for training doesn’t seem ideal but who knows .

The offer he’s got in this case wasn’t so much about being “more than we could” but “more than we were prepared to” taking into account his age and where we are looking to a bit further down the road.

Going on rumours and who’s left the club I expect some further announcements on retentions and additions to the pack and a back to be announced shortly.

This is what i was talking about earlier in the year. Someone on the fax football forum said that New Zealand warriors are interested in taking over the club and buying the stadium from the council. At that time they were having trouble agreeing a price with the current board members who were supposedly asking for too much money for there share in the club. It could be like you say all bull or it could be exciting times ahead and maybe this is why things have gone a little quite after the season finished i hope so.

May be so but how do the football lot hear these things before the rugby lot. If it did involve buying the Shay I’m sure we would heard a lot moor screaming and shouting from the football contingency. Remember last time.
Faxcar my apologies. Yes it is more than we were prepared to pay.

I read the thread on the shaymen forum regarding the potential nrl club investment but thought it was just a wind up because they were moaning about us eggchasers ruining the pitch . Regarding potential investment if I had to guess I would say it would be more likely our sponsor Deliveree who have recently gained 75,0000 shares in the club .

All can say to any questions on this is i don't know it is all just rumors at the moment until anyone hears any different. I did also hear that eclipse energy were going to be investing more money into the club but that might not be true either we will just have to wait and see.

Having looked on companies house deliverees total equity went from £15000 in 2020 to £500,000 in 2021 , they became joint sponsors last year with eclipse energy , then in April this year bought 75000 shares in Halifax plc under the company name cc holdings . That profit growth is quite considerable in a single year , a projection at the same rate of growth would be 16 million in 2022 ( not saying this has happened btw but the food delivery service has become very profitable especially during and after the pandemic) some of what I have typed is obviously speculation but some is facts that can be found online .
