Now that Seymour is in re-hab and no-one knows when he will be back and Holdsworth is really struggling with the affects of concussion and out for "a few weeks" we are now down to our reserve h/back who is past his best in all honesty,where do we go?.We all know halfs are like rocking horse $hit at the moment but are there some knocking about...Gaskell is the obvious 1 and the fact that Sts change the team round and he still doesnt play speaks volumes,he has also got big raps off Rochdale for his attitude there as he is on dual reg.O'Brien? at Wire is another and he has been loaned out to Cas already this season.Isnt there a young kid at Wigan who made a scoring debut v us last season in their U-19s?....trying to think who else could be available or could we go and bid for someone like Smith and Handbury.then there is the aus market and you usually get 1 cropping up but they are suffering with halfs as well.

We need to act now and fast or this season will go tits up and possibly cost Gentle his job.Last season we had players injured and bugger off and we brought in Pitts on a 3yr deal along with Russell,Foster and Goldie who was virtually like for like.

Getting a half is a must but im not to keen on getting one on loan.
Im sure we could tempt one of them young kids to hull with the promise of them playing every week.

It is probably a bad time to be looking to go into the loan market. The easter programme is going to stretch most squads so i cant see any coaches willing to let players go out on loan. You are very lucky that you can currently field 2 ex internationals in your halfs.
