Agree to an extent. It was a frustration to me that he wasn't getting any time and we was overplaying Amir for 80 minutes every week instead. But now I ask myself why he wasn't getting any game time? Might be the simple fact Cartwright doesn't rate him that highly.He should have come on last night and really injected some pace and energy into our attack. Instead he made errors with 2 of his first touches of the game and finished with 2 carries for 1 metre.A poor one off game? Yeah most probably. 95% of the team was garbage last night. But Cas were also and a team he should be looking to make a mark against.
I'm by no means writing him off. I do like the lad and last year I thought he was one of very few shining lights in an awful team. Just don't think he's kicked on at all this year. But I love his attitude with stuff like his off season training abroad. I do wonder if he's lost a little too much weight which may have made him more mobile, but a lot of his good stuff last year was built off his strength and ability to drive defender back.
Just feel that at this moment and over the next month or so he needs to show he can reach his potential, otherwise I would seriously be looking if their are any electric, pacy 9s available for next season.
