All a bit too little too late for me. Feels like it’s been done under mounting pressure from some and it feels like a token gesture to appease the out cry of lack of recognition. This is not to say he doesn’t deserve it we have been saying for years now Sinfield should have been given a knighthood.
I was only saying a few days back if someone got it now it would feel like it was only being given for reasons above and I thought nothing would happen till the new years honours list.
