Glad we've kept Vaughan, and i do like king, there's been loads of games where we're stuck in our 10 and King starts making hard yards and gets us moving forward.I was always dead set against the people saying move him in to the second row ......but i genuinely see it now.
It's a shame for Russell but he's just now cut out for this level, again that's not his fault, Burgess signed him and he's taken his chance and playing as well as he can, can't blame him for that.
And i do love Holroyd, but think until he fills out a bit i think he misses a bit of punch going forward, but he hits hard in defence and has a great engine on him.
And i love Yates but i'd rather see him rotating with Currie at 13 rather than relying on him as a prop. He's doing a good job at prop for us but he's not a prop.

Isn't this knee jerk panic recruitment based on availability rather than a strategic plan? 

So we should play Dan Russell then.

Like Boss Hog says maybe let Russell go the other way, sure I read somewhere he is going on a season long loan next season anyways.

Heard we're getting Sam Stone. I quite like him tbh so would be fairly happy.

I'm just uncomfortable with a recruitment strategy relying on picking at the carcass of a dead local club. I would rather our requirements be analysed in a calm and measured way with targets identified in advance and secured as part of a plan. 




But, as you infer, desperate times require desperate measures.
