Bags of enthusiasm and always gives full commitment, will run himself in to the ground.

Centre is his preferred position so he'd be happy playing there but does offer utility value.

He's a decent player and a move to you lot for a year is probably just what he needs, as long as he is playing most weeks.

At the moment at Wire, he is too much in and out of the side to be able to develop properly.

Be prepared though, like a lot of younger players, some weeks he will look a world beater and others he will look absolutely hopeless - With Wire, he's definitely been a case of 2 steps forward and 1 step back, I would imagine this move will be his final forward or back move as a Wire player, as Tony Smith will undoubtedly monitor his progress and make a decision on his Wire future in 12 months time.

The T&A seriously need to either close their comments facility down altogether, or else do some serious pruning. I refuse to even look at it any more, it seems to attract the dregs of society and the scum of the earth, to engage in a battle of wits with the deranged and the deluded.

Good to have Matty on board. Would prefer him in the centre to second row given the players we already have in the second row. I don't really see him as a direct replacement for anyone. We have lost Elima and Sibbit in the second row. Elima played about half the amount of time last season and I don't think Sibbit played more than four games. In the backs, we have lost Pryce and Crookes.
So, I think this is a good (loan) signing, considering the situation we are in (half the sky money, most OOC players have already been snapped up elsewhere). He's enthusiastic, and it's no surprise he wasn't in the regular wire team (look at the squad they have). I'll look forward to seeing him in a Bulls shirt next season.

Good signing for you. I was hoping he would come to us on a similar arrangement, which seem to be rumoured a while back. If he is keen to establish himself at centre then I guess you maybe offered him more of what he wanted we are OK in the centres but a bit light on cover in the back row. Not saying he wouldn't have come to you anyway we are the "enemy" down the road after all, though not too much of a threat to Warrington at the moment!

I'd guess its got something to do with the quality of coaching its expected that Francis Cummins will provide.
