He probably turned out the worst. When he was announced it appeared to be a top drawer acquisition. As far as chocking up a quota spot goes, hohaia is an absolute disaster

Perry was a great signing, it's just turned out terrible.
Lance was signed for no reason that I can see, we didn't need a full back and he's nothing but a stop gap in any other position

Pound for pound its close between Perry and Hohaia but I agree when we signed Perry I was pleased , its a shame that injuries seem to have ruined him, Lance as you say is an average utility player or decent fullback

You can only get what is available. Alas, Luke Walsh wasn't available two years ago. Had he been, we'd have no doubt snapped him up. This year who else has been available other than Luke Walsh? So much about signings is down to the luck of timing.

And besides, with a proper scrum half beside him, Hohaia may turn out to be a decent six.

He didn't with GOB , he's a good player, just not in the position we need him for, like signing thurston as a prop!

GOB is a third choice halfback at Wire with hardly any first team experience and largely unknown ability. How you can compare him with Luke Walsh is beyond me!
