Am I right in thinking that so far next season we have only signed Adam Cuthbertson? If that's the case am I right in being a little underwhelmed with Leeds' signings over the last 3 or 4 seasons? I'm all for bringing through the academy lads but once in a while, if for no other reason than to try and maintain season ticket numbers, we ought to be looking at a "big name signing". If not the paying fans (like me) will gradually become disillusioned with the recruitment policy - if not the (slightly boring) style of play shown over the last few seasons and either pick and choose the games they attend, or worse still stay away altogether.

You would be absolutely right if just Adman Cuthbertson. Although strong rumours on Lunt, seems accepted in the game that a deal is done. Further strong rumours today on social media about Hock, but can't see that one.

I think Cuthbertson is a good signing (going from what others have said about him) but I still think we need at least 1 probably 2 more props to replace Peacock & Leuluai and to make up for the shortfalls in Bailey & Kirke.

Whilst I don't mind Aiton, I think he's ok, Lunt would be a big improvement on him and a decent replacement for Buderus/Diskin.

Hock, the good, hard running, offloading, hard hitting, non-crazy Hock would be a great signing for Leeds and just what we need in the backrow. But, even if the rumours are true, would we be getting that Hock?

I think if we'd kept one of Burgess, Scruton or Amor I'd be happier with the current squad especially with the likes of Singleton and Walters coming through. It's a shame we couldn't keep Eastwood, I think he'd have been a quality player for us and probably one of the last big NRL signings.

i cant see us singing hock... but crazier things have happened... hes is one of the best RL players ive had the please to watch, however and thats a huge however, he is a liability and doenst have enough years left in him.

I doubt we'll sign anyone else. I'd be delighted with Lunt. He did a decent job for us on loan, I think he's now a far better player than he was then.

Hock can be the best attacking back row in the country. He can also be a liability. If he's available, every club in SL is probably weighing up that gamble. As much as people will cite his brain implosions and foul play, I think you can overstate that problem. It's his lack of focus when the other team are in possession that worries me.

Blows very much hot and cold though. There was a thread on the Hudds board a couple of weeks back where posters were listing the five players they'd like to keep. I don't think his name featured once, although it did get the odd mention in their lists of whom they'd like rid of.
