I'm confident there will be 2/3 signings but whether they all could be classed as "big" is another matter. We know about Griffin from the Giants and George Riley on his blog said a new centre would be announced soon. Then there's the proposed player exchange for Buderus. GH should have received today from Newcastle a list of upto 5 NRL players of similar experience to Buderus some from other clubs and not hookers. I'd be sorry to loose Buderus but we could get a good new player in exchange.
GH knows that 2/3 quality signings will pay off both on and off the field. The unknown is when the signings will be announced. My guess is at least one signing will be announced soon after the semi-final and the others before the end of the season.

Do you not think that losing Buderus makes McShane's life a lot harder?

Oh I've given up on him getting a starting place now....McDermott is probably already planning how to fill the positions 1, 2, 5 and 7 next season with additional new forwards as well as the positions 3, 4 and 6.
