YEP are suggesting that Leeds have not made an approach
This has to be the position. As Christopher and others have said, it'd be a bold move. Results would have to come instantly, attention would also be on style.of play. "Not my squad", "need time to bed in" line of reasoning would be g9ven short shrift. I just cannot see it happening.
Personally I think Jamie Langley will get it if Brad goes at the end of the year, which I'm not 100% convinced he will yet.
If it was McNamara I would give him the benefit of the doubt, not sure many would though.
The more I hear Langley talk (he was excellent on the latest box 2 podcast) the more I think he could do it. Like you I'm not sure Arthur will go if he doesn’t get the Perth job. Neither of his sons has quite cracked 1st grade and the older one is reaching the age where a stint in SL (he's OOC for 26) might be a better move for his career. How ironic would it be if Dad departed on grounds of homesickness for number one son to arrive in the country. Appointing McNamara would be a huge risk, not because he isn't a decent coach, but because he'd be under huge pressure from a volatile fanbase right from the off. Maybe we'll turn to the Queensland Cup - there's a young coach over there who's won 10 from 11 and sits atop the comp. Smith is his name. Seems oddly familiar to me.
