was told by one of his mates at Guiseley last night that Bob Holroyd jr is signing for Fax this week.Local lad spent last 2 seasons at Warrington u19s.

all due respect to the lad, Fax twitter account states that it's a huge squad announcement. I reckon it's one of 4, Gav Bennion, Sam Smeaton, Gareth Moore or Simon Grix

While i do agree they do tend to overplay the announcements..remember turning up to a fax forum type event because they were announcing a major new signing and(with due respect)it was Andy Bracek.

the tweet also used the term 'squad announcement' so it might not even be a player signing. could be something to do with the reserves/academy set up next year

I reckon that we will announce Simon Grix next week and that we've signed Jacob Fairbank on an extended deal. I'd heard that Jacob was going to sign for Sheffield but the coaching staff talked him out of it and the board into it.
