If he's leaving here because he wants marquee money, and he's getting close to that on a 3 year deal at Saints, that's a hell of a deal. I'm sure he'll do a decent job for them, but it's very un-Saints-like.

Ah that's a shame but we need to balance the cap and we have a good replacement in that area. We had his best years and he was a great signing for us. Wish him all the best and he will probably get a GF winners ring in those 3 years which he richly deserves.

Yes but its only a 3 month testimonial from the RFL, so not as lucrative and the tax savings aren't as good I don't think.
