Maybe IMG were on to something when they said the challenge cup needed revamping, poor crowds at Leeds and little interest in broadcasting this round of games

Christ Leeds are awful…they spent big on Ackers and Croft haven’t hit their Salford Heights…Frawley is bloody awful.I think the other Smith will go 1st before ours.

HKR are the real deal im telling you - the reason lots on here cant handle it and call me a rovers fan is because they just dont want to believe HKR are in such a good position and we are at the total opposite end of the spectrum. They had to watch us win CC cups three times, get to a GF, challenge nearly twice whilst they did nothing, must of been hell for them and probably why theyre so bitter but now is their time imo

Their recruitment has been very good, they've put together a very competitive squad. I'm not sure they're good enough to win a trophy unless they catch Saints, Wigan or Catalans on an off day or have a lucky draw again (probably Huddersfield or Cas at home in the QF).

Challenge Cup is undoubtedly rovers big chance to break that 39 year trophy drought.
I don't see them winning either the LLS or GF due, primarily, to Wigan and Saints most likely blocking their path.
But the CC is more of a one-off, as rovers and Leigh both showed when defeating Wigan and Saints last year.
Semi-finalists 2022, runners-up 2023, winners 2024? One final step to take, maybe? A lot can depend on the quarter-final draw and on-the-day incidents, but I have a nagging feeling they will go one better in June.

Hate to say it, but they remind me a bit of ourselves in 2016, on the up with real belief of genuine success.
Ironically we, right now, remind me of rovers, also in 2016!! (at least we can't be relegated though, unlike them!!).

Who cares….when they win something then they are the “real deal”….end of the day they could finish 2nd..get to the 2 finals available and win nothing…we could finish 11th and end up same as them…won nothing.
