All men are created equal, some work harder in preseason.

Wasn’t there a KR player shipped out on loan just for saying in the press TS was better than Sheens? Taylor must be on thin ice given his performance the last few seasons, think an attitude adjustment might be in order.

Hard Work Beats Talent, When Talent Doesn't Work Hard

You could have shown that quote to most fans and asked them who said and I bet most would have said Taylor. The guy should just keep his mouth shut because his 'Mr Hull FC' persona doesn't match the effort he has been serving up for the past 3 years.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Maybe I'm just getting cynical now I'm in my 50's but I think the comment by Taylor about 'new faces especially in the coaching dept' is a poor one and possibly highlights the poor application and mental aptitude to be able listen to his coach etc. You could almost copy and paste the rest of the interview from the past few seasons as it just the same talk he comes out with, yet fails to live up to his pre season interviews.

It would have been far better if he'd actually come out and admitted that as players the majority royally sucked last season and are/were as much to blame for the p15s poor showings of last season.
For me the only positive in terms of Taylor is he is coming to the end of his contract so will need to perform to put himself in the shop window to earn a deal (hopefully elsewhere). Whats disappointing about Taylor is he is supposedly a black and white through and through yet his attitude at times and the way he and some of his other senior team mates have applied themselves or rather haven't.

Don't think you're being cynical at all. I think it's Bob on and most people can see it.

Think it shows the culture of the place when players feel emboldened enough to make such comments.

The media team should maybe have filtered out some of the comments as well.

I would go further than that and suggest players only talk to the media when the club allows and make sure that said players are talking from the club hymn book. In my opinion, both Taylor and Griffin should have been sacked at the end of last season, due to their negative attitude. Dirty washing et al.

Great shame what Taylor has become, had potential to be a club legend, instead i will be happy when he comes off the payroll.

What has Griffin done that has been confirmed rather than being message board rumours?

The post on here about telling Hodgson to eff off at training was confirmed to me by a reliable source and Hodgson’s reply was “go home, come back tomorrow with a better attitude” that started the rot with others taking a likewise stance.
