As expected not sure if hooker should have been a key position to strengthen

Absolutely ! Miller was crucified by most fans every week , god knows why ......he is the one we will miss the most imo . We certainly don't seem to have replaced him .

I think we have, they go under the name of Langi and Smith.

Big fan of Miller but let’s not get into this martyred stuff. When we signed Miller he had nothing like the rep of Langi and about the same as Smith.

Life moves on.

Miller in the final third of the season we'll miss, miller in the first two thirds we won't. All depends on the how the replacements step up.

Ashurst certainly won't miss him.

I quite like Miller .. but he has been controlling the trinity team for a few years … and for most of those seasons we have struggled against relegation… that doesn’t mean to say I blame him for that…

Time moves on and players are impermanent

Only the club… and some supporters are constant…

I also like the nature of the recruitment this season… but until we start playing it’s all speculation

On the squad numbers.. I think it speaks to the motivational techniques of Applegarth and Ford… giving respect but also putting pressure on experienced players like Lineham, Gaskell and Hood… rewarding young players who have committed to new contracts like Hall and Whitbread

Interesting rather than critical ( ps you can tell I’m bored watching the England soccer game)

Toppo was worth getting upset over as was Nigel Wright, but Miller was never in that class.

He may do very well at Cas but in truth as spook points out in recent years he’s not managed to guide us to any degree of success. For me Finn was a far bigger loss, that’s when we started losing our cohesion.

We need a new brain which is what the halves are so let’s see if we’ve signed dunces or dons.
