Locking until this can be cleaned up (again) although it does seem a fair few people just want the thread
closing down - which after all these years of wanting ground upgrades and updates bemuses me.

Two more sections of steel work and that will be the shell of the stand complete

From looking at the photo's didn't realise the 'slight slope' on the pitch? not sure if that's the angle of the photo that's done that? or if that the slight degree in elevation that the stand is on?

I noticed that.
I think it's because the photographer isn't standing exactly square to the touchline but next time I'm there I'm going to look at that.
It's no big deal, I'm just interested as I've never noticed it before.

There's no slope unless the sky is sloping as well! It's the camera angle

As Del Boy would say, it's an optical delusion, the image is just distorted at the right hand side.

For those interested, there is a new video of the ground construction up on YT, if you search "Wakefield Trinity Wildcats (New Stand Construction)" you should find it.
