Attending a function at BV this afternoon, and when I looked out the Rollin shack window looking at the building work, I had to laugh when what appeared to be testing the new underground sprinkler system from various positions around the pitch, one of the sprinklers shot a stream of water straight at one of the builders, poor sod got a right drenching. It was already raining at the time and that’s why I thought they were testing the sprinkler system. I wonder if it’s been connected to the bore hole yet.

Also, I forgot to mention that new tables and chairs were being installed in the Rollin shack. The large round tables had been stacked by the windows, and on the wall side where the TV screens are, a row of smaller tables with 2 seats either side of tables. I said to the chap fitting the tables, I hadn’t seen them before, and certainly wasn’t there last Sunday for the Fev game, he said they had only arrived that day (Wednesday.

Didn’t notice any concrete terracing, I was just amazed b the sprinkler system. I can’t figure out how the nozzle of the sprinkler is kept clear of debris when underground. I don’t know how many there are, but water will reach every blade of grass on the pitch :D

I went past several times today and there was plenty of activity in the North stand. From the very brief glimpses through the main gates that I got whilst driving past, I got the impression that the lower North terracing may have been completed but I could be wrong ??

The have been relaying the concrete walkway between the upper and lower north stand when i passed yesterday, i would expect guarding etc will be starting to be installed once the concrete has cured. It looked like security/safety fencing was all that was on the lower north section and will probably be moved to fence off the upper section if timescales are met for the Catalan game.

Blockwork has commenced low level to the east stand on the corner nearest the north stand turnstiles but this isnt really visible from road/car.

The floodlights are effective from a distance even where i live its like a beam of light directing the mothership in!

Will the old men's toilets be demolished or revamped at the back of the North stand ?

I don’t think there was any toilets on any of the plans or planning portal documents. There also wasn’t any new turnstiles either.
