If Sykes hadn't taken 2 minutes of the clock still ticking to miss all those goals, the whingeing Bradford fans would have had plenty more time.
The hooter went well before Atkins touched the ball, even before it was kicked.
Bradford only have themselves to blame - scratching around for a few seconds at the end of a game is desparate.

and in addition to that.... ^^^^

if bradford hadnt made a mess of the same move 3 times, certainly one of which lead to broughys try, then they wouldnt have needed the extra 20 seconds, which actually wasnt extra, which actually didnt exist....!

likewise, if fatomona hadnt given steve 'great grandad' menzies a crap pass, they wouldnt have coughed up posession and may well have scored another try....which, without those 20 seconds, which didnt actually exist, would have won them the game anyway....

was it really the time keepers fault that bradfords ball retention was poor? we're playing well at the mo - and credit to the lads - you could say, at the moment, we're a good side ! and we all know, you carnt put ball to ground and fail to complete your sets against a good side - they will punish it and it'll cost your side the game...we've been on that side of the coin so many times

It'd be better for bradford to get thier own house in order by learning to do the basics right !

I thought he'd actually fallen asleep stood up when he was waiting to take the second one. He just stood there gawping at the sticks for ages, even before he took his steps back e.t.c.

there are 2 timekeepers one from each club who have got to agree on the time the scoreboard clock is just a guide and is not the official time agreed the clock should be stopped a couple of mins before full time but give the guy a break he has only started doing the scoreboard this season so there are bound to be some mistakes
