So do people think that's it on the recruitment front? For once I can't see an obvious weakness in the squad, apart from maybe King but that will be sorted if Thornley gets back to full fitness.

I have to say that this years recruitment and retention has been one of the most impressive on record - well done to IL and KR

I think it’s too early to call, our outgoings might not be done with yet.

You could argue Thornley is the weak link, not King who I suspect will improve at Wigan.

If Thornley can stay healthy we look fine in the centres, if he can't with Halsall going we're still going to be relying on second rowers filling in

He needs to get fit first. He’s already confirmed he’ll miss at least the first couple of games next season. As long as King/Wardle get through pre season though, that isn’t a major issue and once back, there’s three proper centres there. Guys like KPP and Isa backing up your first reserve is fine, it’s when they’re first reserve that it doesn’t feel right to me.
