George Riley has an interesting twitter thread. He was pleased there was more commitment to London than had been shown by Robert Elstone.

He quoted from the presentation that “We are conscious that London has been done before so need to do it differently”.

In my view, the only way things will change is with new ownership.

Think you are right Buzza about Hughes, but it's how you get him out. The club has the kudos of a cup final appearance & SL runners up so ditching that in favour of a new entity seems a waste. As OM constantly reminds us, there is a huge number of former Fulham, Crusaders, Broncos & Quins fans that have fallen by the wayside but might be encouraged back.

As ever it is how do you get rid of the obdurate one?

Hughes and our heritage are completely different things. While he likes to see himself as the saviour of RL in London he is just a custodian of the club. Not a particularly good one at that. If IMG are serious about London they need to find new ownership to take it forward. It does not necessarily need more money but it does need better decision making and a proper plan to grow the club.
