Supporters Direct Development Day : Fri Jan 27, 2012 4:22 pm
Supporters Direct are holding a Development Day for rugby league supporters’ trusts on Saturday 18th February in Huddersfield. Starting at midday.

Following the event we have some discounted tickets for the Huddersfield Giants v Warrington Wolves game. The tickets are priced £10 + 90p booking fee. Please note that you are only able to purchase tickets to the match if you are attending the day event.

The day includes an interesting presentation on the licensing of Super League Clubs by Chris Thair of the RFL, and how this helps the competition meet the high standards of investment and growth through rigorous assessments. There will also be a presentation by Tom Hall and James Mathie on the new community share initiative at SD as recently adopted very successfully at football clubs raising significant capital funding. This will be followed by a short session on how the new SD Model rules will help with any practical issues and a general discussion.
