Had a look at Casforum and nothing on there about it but Sarginson as left Salford with immediate effect.

Agreed. Folk have short memories. We should have kept him. Any injuries to the back line and we'll be playing Minikin or Russell? to me that is a downgrade over Mamo.

he was offered a contract, he was just offered a better deal at castleford... its about prioritising cap space and quota spots.

so we were right to not chase him with a better contract offer, as the last few seasons have proved.

im not saying he isnt better than minkin... But minkin is backup on a MUCH smaller contract.... mamo went to cas on a big contract as a starting player taking up a quota spot... they are not the same thing at all.
