Very true.

1) I like rumours
2) I like the opinions
3) Why does it take so long / our club leak so badly?
4) This is evidently true. We have started pre season without our full squad in place.
5) I think it's fair to say that some signings have been complicated like that.
6) This is human behaviour (read Aesops Fables Fox and the Grapes)
7) Last time I recall this was Widdop and Williams signings.

Williams. He did it literally all of last season.

Williams' short kicking game is top class. Can't speak on Drinkwater too much as I didn't see him play much last season or in his career to be honest. But I just hope his long kicking game is good, because if I'm honest, Williams might have one of the worst ones I've ever seen!

But he was constantly running at the line last season. He was on the right for the first half of the season. As much as he tried, it just wasn't working, but when we moved him to the left (where he played for Wigan, and because Widdop got injured) he looked comfortable and effective running at the line, creating chances regularly. Just his long kicking game is absolutely poor.

Agreed I think he will allow Williams to shine & he does the basics very well, when I’ve seen him at Catalan albeit without much flamboyance I think it’s quite an astute signing.

The most disappointing factor is that we haven’t signed an out and out quality strike centre. No doubt we will end up signing five centres next year but then be short of second rowers or some shy te like that
