Wallace didn’t sign for Cas because big nige mover the goal posts

How and why?

Wouldn’t mind keeping Wallace for next year haha! Saw Webster, Chisholm and Hitchcox at the game last night! Wouldn’t mind those three haha!

On a different note. We start the 2023 season at home to Whitehaven.

Wallace was set to transfer to Cas with part of the deal being that Wallace would stay at the bulls next season, then big nige decided he wanted a bit more money, Cas said no we will just take him for nothing next year when his contract is up if he is still available

Might be a good omen; Leigh started their record breaking 2022 season at home to Whitehaven. Here's hoping!

TBF it is our prerogative to decide what terms work best for us. Wallace has been a stand out and if he is under contract and in demand why wouldn't we push to try and get a bit more from the deal?

If Wallace wants to go play SL earlier then Cas probably isn't the best fit anyway if they are willing to loan him back to us for the season, whereas if someone else is willing to offer a bit more then the club are happier and so is he.

If he is content to wait for SL rugby, then he can play out his deal with us and go for free, probably on a higher wage cos there is no transfer fee involved.

Either way, club and Wallace need to be working together to get the best solution out of the deal.

George Roby looks a handy loan signing. Loads of potential.

Flanagan and Roby as the hookers then?
