Jeez can you imagine Newman as captain

It might reign in his emotions a bit I guess but I don't think he's quite what Rohan's looking for.

Coach is best placed to choose as needs to be objective. Players are likely to pick someone who is well liked and ‘one of the boys’. More important to respect a Captain than to ‘like’ then……….

Maybe so but i also think players would pick someone who would lead by example and have their respect.I think you are doing the players a disservice by saying they would pick their mate rather than the right man for the job.Will be interesting to see if Rohan changes the captain.
