If the choice is Macdonald or Leutele I’d go Macdonald I agree.

Sadly the reality is we probably won’t no. Hamstrings are one of the worst injuries to have. Even when healed, there is always residual weakness there….

Yep. Something Smith said the other week really resonated with me:"The best indicator of future injury is previous injury." As a middle aged man with a tennis elbow that I keep thinking I've shaken off only for it to recur with irritating frequency, I know this to be true. I'm not a 22 year old top level athlete like Harry, but he clearly needs the off season and big change of luck.

Whilst playing reasonably well these last couple of games the majority have been uninspiring to say the least.

I suppose the hope with prior is a more balanced front row might lead to more consistent performances.

Macdonald is bigger than Leutele 5 years younger almost certainly takes up less cap space and has a relationship with Rohan Smith I think its a done deal. If it goes through we are certainly adding some size across the squad with the incoming players.

What’s holding up these deals? Seems an odd situation. Understand your point here and it’s very valid. Macdonald quite a bit short of Leutele as a player imo.
