My 13 year old grandson, who has been an Eagles season ticket holder in one form or another since he was 5, has been selected to carry the Olympic Torch on 26th June on the Sheffield to Cleethorpes leg. He will be carrying it in Rotherham at around 9.00 a.m. but he doesn't know which part yet. I will post this info as soon as we have it. If anyone out there fancies coming along to watch him I am sure he would appreciate it, especially if you wear Eagles shirts as he himself will NOT be allowed to.
A proud moment for us and one that will live with us for the rest of our lives. Well done Charlie.
