Doncaster Rugby League Club is delighted to confirm the signing of Dennis Tuffour for their 2013 season in the Championship.

23 year-old Tuffour was born in Ghana, raised in London and has just completed the 2012 season with Leeds based club Hunslet Hawks in the Championship.

Tuffour can play anywhere in the back line and signed as a professional for Hull FC in 2010 after an impressive season with the club's under 20's. He came to Hull's youth academy from Harlequins RL as he was studying at Hull University.

Tuffour was loaned out to York City Knights in 2011 where he scored a try on his debut against Gateshead Thunder and has won national awards in pool as well as having trials with Premier League football side Tottenham Hotspur.

Dons' head coach Tony Miller said: "I'm thrilled Dennis has come on board for us; he's a player I've admired for quite a while so it's very pleasing to finally have him at the club.

"He's a very quick, strong player and will give us plenty of versatility in the backs. I'm confident he'll quickly become a favourite of our fans and I'm looking forward to working with him."

Tuffour said: "I'm really pleased to be joining Doncaster at an exciting time for the club as they make the move up to the Championship.

"Tony has been trying to sign me for the last three years so I hope I can reward his patience and play an integral part of the club's on-going development.

"The Dons have had a tremendous season this year and I believe this club is really going places. This was a major factor for me when I agreed to sign for them."

Yeah that's good news hopefully get those two and another two from wakey. Then I think we'd just need 1 or 2 more to complete the squad.

I think we quite desperately need another half back.

Cookie is going to be targeted all year and, Kes playing out of position aside, we only have one scrum half. We need someone who can play 6 or 7 (or one of each).

Agree with you two on the winger and halfback front - would also like to see an extra hooker and prop for back up as Emmit is a lot more effective in the backrow imo and we only have one spare prop. But winger and halfback are a priority

half back , full back. Waterman more effective at centre

If we got Danny Cowling and Lucas Walshaw from Wakefield I'd say the two priorites for me would be a half back and a winger.

I'm with the consensus. Cookey is going to get a lot of attention from the opposition. We don't want to be in the position we were in in the play-offs and we do need another winger.
