In a world of conflict and extreme positions, it's very pleasing to see two parties with opposing views sit down and reach a compromise; WT and RH have shown the world that it is possible to live in peace harmony for mutual benefit. Namaste.
I don't believe Hampshire has ever said he doesn't want to be at Belle Vue. The issue was contractual he wanted 'X' and the Club were seeking 'Y'. Both parties have clearly agreed on 'OK' and an extension of two years to his contract that would have ended in November has been signed.
Your view, rather simplistically explained, is a personal view. The signing by the Club is a professional decision, no doubt backed up with player statistics, attitude, added value to the coaching plan long term, meeting a budget and not an emotional and factless view like BOJO42 has put forward. The club believes that he's good enough and that's the view that counts. A bit more getting behind the club and players in their decisions should be a supporters stance.
