How or will Conner take over from Grix next season?

I personally think Grix is an integral part of our team. He has his off games and think they might come with more regularity as he gets older. So will Anderson bring Conner slowly or will it take a really bad game from Grix? Or is the Greg Edan option viable? Not too sure he can get rid of his mistakes. Im not saying hes a bad player but makes a lot of mistakes, as expansive players do. There's not many better sights then Edan in full flight

Connor could do with a bit more experience. It will do him good to be at Batley until we have an injuriy at full back.
And it`s Grix`s position to lose, if he keeps performing why change anything.

grix will be out OOC at the end of the coming season so maybe they will blood connor slowly giving him the odd game but grix does not miss many games so hard to see where he will get a look in, batley didnt give ours much of a chance to play last season.

dont think we will see eden back now with the emergence of connor

We must start with Grix and I'm sure he will start the year as first choice full back with Anderson already thinking of how he can bring Conner through for experience in certain games.

Defo got to start the season with Grix. I think we should look at Murph at centre rather that full back. He's one of our best defensive players and a great finisher, but the way we have our full back linking up like a 3rd half back I'm not sure he fits that bill. I'v not seen much of Conner but from what I have seen he seems the man to pick up the full back berth from Grix.

What would we give for a Paul Reilly in this generation!!!

Murphy has no chance of been a first choice centre next season.

murphy at centre? would not let anyone down but dont think he would get ahead of wardle and cudjoe.

Much as I liked Paul Reilly he would not get into today's team. His main strength was running the ball back hard which is now a job done by the wingers.
defencively he was poor and he was limited in attack due to lack of pace and poor positioning.

I agree Murph wont get in in front Wardle and Cudjoe I never said he would. But hes not going to be ahead Grix anytime soon. He's going to be a first choice winger in my opinion. If Wardle of Cudjoe lose form or get injured id move Murph to centre and bring Broughton/Blackmore on the wing. If Grix gets loses form or gets injured id bring Conner in at full back.

Not sure he will. Grix has his off days, but when he hits form he's as good as anyone. At his very best, he's unplayable.

I hope Connor gets some game time next year, but I think he's a while away from being the first choice FB.

From the limited time I've seen of Jake I would say he has loads of potential, but so do many others. He will need to knuckle down and do his time to earn a spot in the starting line-up of one of the top sides in SL otherwise he can go and play for someone weaker like Wakey.

I think the critisicm ( whether justified or not) from sections of the support actually helped Scott in the fact he seems to have stepped his game up and definitely answered his critics in the 2nd half of last season.
He is our Full-back so its up to him to lose that position and unless he leaves or his form dramatically dips i can't see him being replaced so easily.

Jake Connor was probably the youngster i was looking forward to seeing play more than any other and in the games he has played he's been very assured and certainly looks a great talent, he needs more game time and hopefully Baloo will see fit to give him more this year to aid his development.
