Disappointing news, and Whitehead hasn`t really had a chance to claim a 1st team jersey with us. He is the 3rd ex-Warrington Academy player that HKR have signed in the past 12 months.

This is the sort of move that really angers me. I can't wait to see Whitehead becoming a top player at another club and then flicking the Vs at the Wire fans when he scores a try in front of us. What a waste of effort to develop a good player and then let him go to a rival.

If this is true and we re-sign Crowther then I’m done with this bunch. Burgess and KFP can absolutely do one. 

The same thought crossed my mind. 


On the positives - the lad gets a fresh start with a current top club under a quality coach. I wish him all the best.
