Looks like Dan Russell and Tom Whitehead are heading to Salford for the rest of the season as part of the Stone deal. Another wonderful recruit Russell has been. I would love to know who has been in charge of recruitment this season, is it Chambers or Fitzpatrick? It's been nothing short of a disgrace and accountability is required.
Alfie Johnson - loaned out to Halifax
Dan Russell - loaned out to Salford
Oli Leyland - not fancied, 36 year old Ratchford preferred at HB
Tbf to Leyland getting the horrible injury does not help but other points are very valid, could be that’s where Russell will end up for 2026 if we can’t just offload him anyway.
I think Oli Leyland needs to return to the Broncos on loan for the rest of the season to get his fitness and confidence back, but at the same time I don't think he figures much in Sam Burgess's plan for this season and probably next either.
