Normal refereeing services to be resumed on Saturday as Mr Kendall takes charge.
The Leeds players need to be into him early doors and if necessary Brad Arthur needs to be waiting for him in the tunnel at half time if he doesn’t like the decisions out on the field. There’s no point in being passive throughout the game and then suggesting certain decisions could have gone our way afterwards. Mike Mcmeeken will be trying to ref the game from the word go. Every time the ref is surrounded by Wakey players we need a presence in and around as well. And this is everything I hate about the modern game and the lack of respect that referee's seem to have these days. It needs stamping out, in the ref's face, waving arms asking for penalties and laying down after tackle if you think you deserve a penalty. penalties should go against the arm wavers, shouters and des. Players would soon get the message and to add to this, they should start calling the ref Sir again, like they used to. I agree entirely. But the problem is that it ain’t gonna happen. I don’t want to see my team disadvantaged by playing fairly when the officials are being coached and manipulated by opposition players. That is a surefire way to lose more games than you should be doing. Something that has become more prevalent and should be stamped on by the weak refs is players coaching the ref to watch certain opposition players and there supposed offences. More and more I am hearing refs replying to players moaning by saying “I’ll keep an eye on that” or “I’ll have a look next time”. Eh ! Who’s reffing the game for Gods sake ? Certain teams and certain players are sowing the seeds in the refs mind to unfairly focus on opposition players and their supposed offences. Refs are just going along with it. The only reply to players coaching a ref should be “go away l’m the ref” rather than agreeing to target certain players for extra scrutiny. All of the problems on field are the ref’s and governing body’s fault. They obviously aren’t going to sort it so why disadvantage yourself by meekly hanging back and not having your say ?

Second half massively took the shine off that win.
Handleys D was extremely poor, Bentley his usual self, bordering on sabotage he was so bad, and croft offering nothing again.
Miller was fantastic, Connor class at half and watkins really good again.
Credit Wakey aswel, they look a good, dangerous team Bentley showing right there why he should not be in the side and never given another contract. Pure brainless stupidity and no need for it totally avoidable and nearly cost us the game. Although felt a bit sorry for Lisone, not the player to bring on the field last 5 minutes in a one score game, but it also showed why he shouldn’t really get another deal. You really dislike Bentley I personally thought the sin binning was harsh. Yep cant stand him and he’s utter crap. Brainless , ineffective too small no talent doesn’t run good lines doesn’t make breaks or bust tackles, he may make allot of tackles but never dominates anyone. 3 years with and had about 2 good games. Mediocre signings like him make us mediocre. But apart from that... Makes you wonder how he gets picked virtually every week if he's such an awful player.

Everyone gas players they don’t rate/like. Plenty Oledski bashing on here a year or 2 ago.

| Lachie isn't a bad injury and could be OK for the Warrington game!
Good news this as he's been outstanding this year and I think the second half showed how much he offers the attack

| Mightnt be a bad time to give him an extra week's recovery and try a different set up. The one Brad opted for v wakey didn't work roo well and with wire recovering from a final it could be a good time to explore other options.

We've got a block of 5 or so games coming up from which an 80% win rate would be a great return. We should be looking to play our strongest available side. In my view we're not in a position to rest players who are fit enough for the 17. Wire will be a tough game, regardless of how they go at the weekend.
