i have heard this week that fax are looking at signing Chris Gordon from the RAF? does anyone know if this is true? i watched him play in the Blackpool 9s and to be honest he looked good, very strong and light on his feet!!? anyone else see?

yes he is mate, used to go school with Chris at Penketh High in Warrington, bloody good player, his brother wasnt bad either (on widnes books for a while before he chose to become a pilot so packed it in) be great seeing him in action.

As for Military Personnel playing at this level, Ben Seru at oldham was signed by them after they played The Army in the Challenge Cup a few years ago, and I believe Brett McDermott was in the Marines at some point

Chris Gordon was good at Blackpool in the 9s and I was told by someone who knows him that we would not have to pay is wages if he signs for us because the RAF will.
