Jon has had no trouble playing at SL level. He was also very impressive against SL opposition in the pre season. He will be a high quality player for many years to come. He defends well and is hungry for the ball. He has good footwork and hands for a big bloke.

No disrespect to fairbanks but JM is in a different class.

Apart from 2 or 3 players our pack is either too old, too small or too unfit.

I played rugby with Jonny at Orrell St James' for quite a few years. We were the top team at our age group and Jonny Molloy was always one of our best players (probably second only to jonny lomax) and played with a lot of aggression and enthusiasm. Saw his debut for Hudds about a month ago and he looked good at SL level so hope he does well for you (except when you play Leigh of course!)

Welcome Jon and hope you enjoy your stay with Fax. Think we defo need a few changes especially in the pack. I think we have too many old bodies as Rugby League is very fast and very tough and the older you get the harder it is especially in summer. Sounds like his defence is top notch-something we desperately need!
I hope young Fieldhouse gets signed up as soon as possible and defo think he should play before Miles if fit as Miles looks a shadow of his self-which is understandable. I would defo like to see a young Prop in the mould of Maloney come in as well as only Aizue seems to have the power to cause problems going forward. Gannon and Cherryholme simply are plodders compared to Aizue and Maloney. Will be interesting to see the difference Noble will have not just on Matt but on players and their attitude.

I believe Burleigh Bears

He hasn't been getting into their team, isn't even listed in their squad

He was playing in their 3rd team at one point and I don't think he is playing anymore. He has a decent job out there (non rugby) from what am told
