Was it carter or Applegarth that said if we didn’t do the Hall deal then we’d risk not winning a game without a genuine fullback. Unfortunately we are and were caught between a rock and a hard place. Hall would be leaving at the end of the year if we went down, and we won’t possibly win a game with Dagger at 1. What a terrible state we are in.

Does anyone know what Jowitt's actual injury is? Does anyone think he'll ever play for us again?

No I don't, but was thinking this only yesterday. Why do we have to settle for "a freak injury during captains run, something with the foot / ankle" and not what the ACTUAL injury is? Would it harm them to tell us what is going on? I am genuinely interested for one, and is it not just courtesy to the fans to keep them updated?

Applegarth would only constantly say it wrong like he does with Gaskell's pectoral injury.

It was the same with Lynne earlier and when asked about Crowther he said he did not want to go into his injury, the only thing I can think of is it might have something to do with HIA's.
