A bit like now then - the squad Furner inherited was significantly inferior to what Agar is coaching. Furner was correct the squad needed a clear out sadly the likes of Sutcliffe, Briscoe, Dwyer etc are still getting picked every week.

I genuinely think it is time the club broke away from the influence of the golden generation - they were great servants to the club but it is time the club moved on.

The club have no viable options - Agar will remain in place until the end of the season - maybe he will be in charge next season too.
