Like I said. I'm OK with him playing,but best two on form should play, not in record.

Why should his record get him a game , seriously. He’s had a game n a half for us and your saying his form isn’t up to scratch , boy that takes the biscuit . So we fly a top quality winger half way around the world , he gets his arm broken in the second game, and you’ve seen enough to say he’s not up to scratch . Well pray tell me how will he get up to scratch if he doesn’t get game time , apart from a friendly , or do we just cash him in and send him home .

I've seen enough to know that his current form isn't as good as our other options.
I didn't say he wasn't a good player. Possibly the best we have based on his record.

If we have friendlies to see how players are progressing, why wouldn't you pick based on form.

But all to a man everyone says that you can’t read anything into friendliest , but now your picking the squad Based on them , very strange . If that were the case then , that young hooker with take hoods place for the foreseeable . Doesn’t quite work like that .

We lost to a drop goal so not too shabby and Tomkins wasn’t the form fullback neither was mcllorum the form hooker , more like mates , so that’s dead in the water .

Form is ok during the season.
However, warm up matches are totally different.
Apart from fringe players hoping to make the 17 for the first game, players tend not to bust a gut (home or away), making it difficult to judge form.
OK is someone has been awful then, maybe dont play them but, the pre season games are about trying some combinations and trying to get some match fitness into as many of the squad as you can.
The threequarters will be hardest to pick and then whether we go with 4 forwards on the bench or, 3,plus a half/hooker.
Langi is a great bench option but, he may want a bit more than that.
